The newest port on the river, the Red River Parish Port at Hanna, provides good access for the delivery of such commodities as aggregate and agricultural lime used by local industry.

Red River Parish offers a conveniently-located port site at Hanna on the west side of the Red River. The 50-acre port is well-placed, adjacent to La. 1 and the Union Pacific Railroad, and near I-49.

The Red River Parish facility includes an access road, general cargo dock, on-site office, truck scales, scale house, storage area, material handler and mooring dolphins.
